Realme 3

Introduction:

Realme is a Shenzhen-based Chinese smartphone manufacturer. It was a sub-brand of OPPO Corporation till its separation in 2018 when that it became Associate in Nursing freelance company. The company recently released Realme 3, one of their best devices in March 2k 19.

Body and Dimensions:

Now, the first thing that we see in a phone is its build and design. How well it has been made and how much is it durable?

Talking about the build of the Realme 3, it’s made out of a plastic body with rounded corners and front glass construction. It is very typical in this price range to have a plastic body. It also has a triple slot for dual Sims as well as a Micro SD Card. It also has a 3.5mm Headphone Jack. It has a Micro USB Port for charging.

Display:

Now comes the display, which in my opinion is one of the most important parts of a smartphone.

Realme 3 has a 6.22 inches 720pIPS display with a Tear Drop Notch Design. The pixel density is 270 PPI. Now this display might be a bummer for most people but when u consider its price and a 720p display doesn’t take up that much battery, I think ur going to change let it pass. The brightness level is just average for a phone in this price range. Overall the display is fine.

Interface:

Realme 3 comes on Android 9 Pie out of the box. It runs on Oppo’sColorOS 6. It also has screen recording built into the OS itself. So that’s a good thing. ColorOS is a very flashy interface and it is no way near Stock Android. Some people might love it while others might hate it.

Processor:

Now it comes to the heart of phone, its processor.

Realme 3 is equipped with an Helio P60 CPU (Pakistani Variant) and Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It’s anOcta Core processor based on 12nm Process with 4 Cortex-A73 High-Performance Cores and 4 Cortex-A53 Efficient Cores. It comes in either 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage or 4 GB RAM + 64 GB Storage. This is where the Realme 3 really shines and blows the competitors out of the water. It’s because the Helio P60 is quite a capable chip and it’s the first time we are seeing it in this price range. Previously we have seen it in Oppo F7 and Oppo F9 to name a few, which are a lot expensive than the Realme 3. It can easily run PUBG with high graphics with good gameplay.

Cameras:

Realme 3 has a 2 Rear Camera Design with a 13mp f/1.8Sony IMX 519 Main Sensor with a secondary 2mp Depth Sensor for that portrait shots with a single LED Flash. This sensor has previously been seen on the One Plus 6T with was a much expensive phone than this. So, no one should be disappointed by these cameras because they perform really well. You have all the camera features like Portrait Shots and Night Scape which is the Night Mode for the Realme 3. Overall you are not losing on anything here.

Talking about the front camera you have a 13mp f/2.0 lens. Front camera performance is also great because you don’t see such high megapixel cameras in this price range.

Moreover, Camera2api is also enabled, so can install Google Camera to massively improve the picture quality.

On the Video front, the back camera is capable of recording videos at 1080p 30fps videos with nice quality but sadly there is no kind of stabilization present here whatsoever. The selfie camera can also record videos at 1080p 30fps.

COMMUNICATION:

On the communication side, Realme 3 has all the necessary things like Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Fm Radio, etc.

Battery:

The battery is an area where the Realme 3 has also shines. It has 4230mAh non-removable battery which charges through a micro USB port. Now, this battery is massive and you should expect to get 2-day battery life out of this phone.

Another cool aspect of this phone is that it also supports 10W fast charging and comes with a 10W charger out of the box. Now charging this much big battery is going to take some time on a 10W charger but keeping in mind the price, I think we should forgive it. So, this phone also doesn’t disappoint when it comes to the battery. But I really think they should move on to USB-C because nowadays every latest phone is going towards USB Type C.

Price:

Retail Price of Realme in USD is $171.In Pakistan, the 3+32gb variant is Rs 22,999 and for the 4+64gb is for Rs 28,999.

Personal Opinion:

In this price the phone you are getting is quite impressive with a lot of good features, a powerful processor and a big battery.

But you guys should also keep in mind that the aftermarket price of this phone is not that great. So, you guys should at least use this phone for a year to get the most out of it.

In my opinion, this is the Best Phone in this price range.
